Cleveland Jewish Book Festival

Every year, the Mandel JCC, with the help of our generous sponsors and partners, hosts a ten day festival celebrating authors, books, and ideas. Topics relate to Jewish life, Zionism, history, business, religion and more. Author visits are accompanied by lectures, Q&A sessions, and book signings.

In Broad Daylight: The Secret Procedures Behind The Holocaust By Bullets

World-renowned French scholar, author and Catholic priest, Father Desbois, profiled on CBS News’ 60 Minutes, will discuss his mission to discover forgotten victims of the Holocaust whose bodies lie in unmarked mass graves in the former USSR. Desbois’ latest book documents mass killings in seven countries that were invaded by Nazi Germany. This lecture will contain graphic discussions and images.
