Contemporary Jewish Experiences in the US Army
Jews have served in the United States military across the entirety of our nation’s history. While Jewish Americans are likely familiar with the Jewish experience of parents and grandparents serving in the military during World War II, fewer are connected to Jewish military service in the United States Armed Forces in the latter half of the 20th century – even less so for the 21st century. On this Veterans Day, come spend some time talking about the Jewish experience in the United States Army with one of the Cleveland Jewish Community’s own. Shaker Heights native Lt. Col. Jake Kramer will discuss his past 21 years of service to the nation with fellow Jews. Come participate in a dialogue about a contemporary Jewish experience in the United States Army.
