 NOVEMBER

Aleph Bet and Me
Come join us for songs, rhymes, movement, and stories in Hebrew with your little ones. Instructed by Ianina Dana, a Licensed Social Worker (LSW). Ianina uses rhymes, books, and songs to communicate with kids and teach them Hebrew in an interactive environment.

When: First & Third Wednesdays of each month • 10-10:30 AM • November 6 & November 20
Where: Family Place

Jewish Holiday Crash Course for Young Families led by Rabbi Michael Unger
They come around every year, but often we are so busy with life that we don't get the most out of the holidays...and neither do our children. This workshop will help get you and your little ones ready for the festivals and will provide you with more background information. The focus will be on the seasonal holidays. If you aren't even sure what some of these holidays are, this Crash Course is for you. Topics covered will be: the meaning of the holidays, activities for children and families for the holidays and foods/recipes you can make for and with your kids! Bring your questions and Rabbi Ungar will have the answers!

When: December 12 • 5 - 6pm

Preparing Children for Toilet Mastery
Parent Coach and Educator Joan Morgenstern, will discuss the ‘ins and out’ of potty mastery so parents are better prepared to support their child’s success.

FEBRUARY

Jitterbugs at The J
For families with children ages 6 months to 18 months old Celebrate the joy of moving with your baby! Connect with your little one. Class incorporates stretching to nursery rhymes, age- appropriate movement games, discovery time with a prop and socialization with others! Open to the community.

When: Sunday, February 2 • 6 -12 months: 11-11:45 am & 12 -18 months: 10-10:45 am

J-Family Art

Squats and Tots 
A play-based way for tots and their parents/ caregivers to work out and have fun at the same time! This fast- paced class will have you dancing, squatting, planking, laughing and sweating. Open to the community.
