Join us for the Mandel JCC juried art show and sale, an eclectic mix of artwork from established, emerging and amateur Northeast Ohio artists. Deadline to submit has passed, submissions are no longer being accepted
Artists must reside in Northeast Ohio, all ages and skill levels are encouraged to apply. Art must be original work, created between 2016 – 2019.
$15 students $20 Mandel JCC member $25 Community
Maximum of four submissions are included in entry fee.
Works selected will be displayed in the high traffic Mandel JCC lobby. Cash prizes will be awarded in select categories.
To submit your artwork:
• Please upload up to four 2D works of art, no larger than 48” in height and depth, must be under 1600 pixels in any direction at 300 dpi and no larger than 20MB.
- Work must be readable by Macs and PCs
• Label each image as follows: Lastname_Title_Entry # (example: Smith_Moon_01)
*Subject matter should be suitable for public viewing, no nudity.
*Work with 3” or more of depth or heavier than 25 pounds will not be accepted.
All work MUST be ready to hang with two hardware attachment points near the top of the frame or back support (D-rings preferred, secure screw eyes acceptable, wire not necessary). No saw tooth hangers. Work which has sharp projections and loose parts will not be accepted. Plexi glass is preferred. Art must be clearly labeled with artist’s last name, title, and medium on the back. Works that are not framed in a professional manner will be rejected.
While all entries will be handles with due care, The Mandel JCC of Cleveland is not responsible for loss or damage to works submitted for judging. Items accepted for the exhibit will be covered during the show by limited insurance against theft or vandalism, but not for damage or other causes. Excessive insurance value cannot be honored.
Conditions and Agreements:
Exhibition works may not be removed until the end of the show. Entrant automatically grants permission to photograph exhibited works for publicity. Any art unclaimed 30 days after close of the J-Show will be donated. Please price your art to sell, or NFS. The Mandel JCC retains 35% of all sales.
