Group Fitness Classes
With more than 80 FREE weekly drop-in Group Fitness classes at The J, you are sure to find a class that meets your fitness needs and goals, along with the support of other members. Join other expecting mothers for an hour of yoga specifically focused on the needs of pregnant women. The program, conducted in a calm, peaceful environment will help strengthen the uterus and pelvic muscles, improve circulation, aid in digestion, exercise the spine and increase overall comfort. Yoga can also alleviate many of the discomforts of pregnancy such as nausea, constipation, varicose veins, swelling, back pain and sciatica. Yoga can also help mothers develop proper breathing techniques that can be used in labor and delivery.

Step aerobics (20), strength training (20) and ab work(20) are all combined for a 60 minute fast-paced, challenging workout.
HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training)
Alternating intervals of high-intensity aerobic work and active recovery. Class is perfect for workout enthusiasts looking for a challenge.
Kick & Slam
A high-energy kickboxing class designed to decrease body fat, increase endurance and reduce stress. Some equipment may be used.
Increase core strength with the traditional moves created by Joseph Pilates. This very focused workout will teach you to properly align your spine and execute all movement through the “core” abdominal muscles. All levels welcomed All equipment provided.
Combination of ballet inspired movements, muscle sculpting, yoga stretching and Pilates core work to lengthen, strengthen and shape your muscles.
Mandel JCC is centrally located minutes from I-271 and Chagrin, in Beachwood. It is convenient to Shaker Heights, Pepper Pike, Cleveland Heights, University Heights, South Euclid, Lyndhurst and Solon.
