Spend a full day at the historic Chautauqua Institution, a 750-acre lakeside community dedicated to arts, education, and cultural exploration. Highlights include a keynote lecture by filmmaker Ken Burns and an afternoon musical performance featuring Chautauqua Chamber Music: Ruckus with violinist Keir GoGwilt. Walking level: Moderate. Three kosher meals provided. Bus ride approximately 2 hours.

Join us for the presentation “Plants at War,” which reveals the often overlooked role of plants during World War I and II. The presentation highlights how botany and horticulture supported wartime efforts through victory gardens, battlefield medicine, and everyday community involvement; helping sustain morale, heal the wounded, and promote peace. Children ages 6 months to 3 years old will learn basic swimming skills and water acclimation. Parents or caregivers are in the water with the children.

Children ages 6?12 receive lessons based on a logical, progressive level structure that helps swimmers develop water safety, survival, and swimming skills. The class is designed to provide a positive learning experience while working on strokes, floating, and basic water skills.

Level 3 builds on skills learned in Level 2 and introduces new swimming and water safety skills. This level emphasizes guided practice in deeper water to further develop strokes and build confidence.

A positive, developmentally appropriate swimming learning experience for children ages 3-5 years old. This class teaches water adaption, blowing bubbles and beginnings of strokes.
