A rodeo-themed kids night out program with fun Wild West activities, crafts and snacks.
J-Kids is bringing the party to town with an epic Kids Night Out: Glow Party Edition! Join us for a night of neon, music and fun designed for kids in grades K-5. We’re turning down the lights and turning up the excitement for an evening that will have kids glowing inside and out with glow-in-the-dark face painting, neon crafts and wearable glow gear. Featuring activities like our Glow Dance Floor to show off their best moves, Glow Limbo to see how low they can go and Glow Art Station to create a glow-themed masterpiece to take home. A light snack will be provided to keep the energy going.

The J's youth pickleball course is geared toward those who want to learn the basics of pickleball and practice it with a coach. Participants will learn the rules, skills and strategies for a basic pickleball doubles game. No class on Dec 15.

Learn the social game of Mah Jongg and participate in open play.
Mah Jongg matches one’s playing pieces, called tiles, to a set of possible hands. It is a very social game played around a table with four players. Those new to the game will learn the basic rules of play, strategies, tips, switching hands and more. Not a beginner? Just come to play! All are welcome. Instruction is available Feb. 6-27. Open play will be in effect after that date.

In this four-class series, presidential historian Steve Schecter will explore the incredible and often overlooked influence that slaves had on shaping American history. We will discuss their pivotal role in shaping the lives and decisions of some of our nation?s most influential figures, ultimately leaving an unforgettable mark on the fabric of our nation. Topics include George Washington's Three Favorite Enslaved; Thomas Jefferson and the Hemings Family; How the War Changed Lincoln; and A Partial Biography of Frederick Douglass.

This MLK Jr. Day, give your kids a day full of fun and adventure at our special school's out program. Your child will enjoy a day packed with activities. They’ll make a splash in the pool during our swim session, unleash their creativity in vibrant arts and crafts projects, and burn off energy in action-packed sports games. Whether they’re creating masterpieces, competing in friendly sports, or splashing around with friends, there’s something for every child to enjoy. AM care and PM care are available for an additional cost.

This winter break, give your kids a day full of fun and adventure at our vacation camp. Your child will enjoy a day packed with activities. A six-week program for adults interested in losing weight and feeling better.
The J's annual Weight Loss Challenge is for members ages 18 and over who want to firm up their body, lose weight and feel better overall. Participants get six weeks of continuous motivation and support from Rich Zatta, director of fitness, plus special group fitness classes and guidance from a University Hospital dietician. Participants will have access to an Expresso Bike Challenge and personal training special offers. Cash prizes are awarded to men and women who lose the highest percentage of weight.
