Anisfield Day Camp - Grades K through 6

New in Summer 2025

Get ready for all new programming in the summer of 2025. In addition to lengthening the camp day, we're adding new activities.

  • Halle Park in Burton: We've added a Teva Nature Program, including a large garden, sand volleyball court and a frisbee golf course. Our sports programming has been supercharged to keep the energy high, and creative campers will dive into new artistic mediums that spark the imagination like never before.
  • Safran Park in Beachwood: Check back soon for new and exciting enhancements and activities.

Kindergarten Programming

Our youngest campers at Safran Park enjoy a warm, nurturing environment that brings imagination to life. Through daily activities like sports, swimming, art and dance, they develop essential social skills, build teamwork and connect as part of a fun, supportive camp community — all while relishing the outdoor excitement!

First Grade

Choose between Halle Park in Burton or Safran Park in Beachwood for their Anisfield experience. At Halle Park, campers enjoy a lively bus ride to our wooded campsite where they dive into nature and endless activities. Safran Park offers a cozy, supportive environment ideal for kids who thrive with a little extra guidance. Both locations promise fresh adventures, skill-building and a vibrant community spirit.

Grades 2-6

As campers progress to Grades 2-6, their experience grows to match their interests and independence. Each morning begins at The J in Beachwood, followed by an exciting bus ride to Halle Park, where we have an all-camp high-energy Rock the Rock kick-off.

  • Camp 360 provides a full camp experience with swimming, sports, archery, arts and crafts, and more.
  • Athletics and Creative Arts programs offer longer, immersive days for campers to delve into specialized activities.
  • For an added fee, campers can personalize their journey with specialty programs.

The Francine and Benson Pilloff Family Performing Arts Camp

About PAC

Seen as an extension of our Playmakers Youth Theatre program, The J's Performing Arts Camp (PAC) is a place for campers of all experience levels to stretch their imaginations, gain confidence on and off the stage, find their voices, and build lifelong friendships. Through playing a character, singing their hearts out, and nurturing instruction that celebrates each individual’s creativity, PAC campers grow as performers and people.

PAC Programming

PAC campers participate in theater classes and electives, enjoy fun in the sun, swim and express themselves through visual art. Each day, campers in grades K-5 rehearse a play written by Emma Miller, with roles specifically developed to showcase each individual. Our sixth- through eighth-grade campers dive deeply into theatrical storytelling, bringing well-known characters and scenes to the stage. All campers rehearse daily and enjoy specials such as improv and costume design, masterclasses, Scene Stealers, Playmympics, and electives such as hip-hop and a cappella.

J-Kids Camp

Our Pre- and Post-Camp sessions allow kids in grades K-6 to get an early start on the summer with a full day camp experience before J-Day Camps start and after the final session of the summer. Spend a day, several days or the entire week at Safran Park in Beachwood for swimming, sports, crafts and other activities.
