After School Program
Give your kids a chance to unwind after in-school learning at The J with a variety of activities including arts and crafts, games, gym time and even homework help. Children can attend any number of days per week.
Free transportation is available from Beachwood City Schools, Gross Schechter Day School and Orange City School District. Escorted walks from Fuchs Mizrachi and Mandel Jewish Day School.
Playmakers Youth Theatre
Youth and teens of all experience levels participate in shows that help them stretch their imaginations, gain confidence on and off the stage and build lifelong friendships. This community theatre program presents several shows a year.
School’s Out and Vacation Camp
When school is out, The J is in. During our holiday and vacation programs, youth will have active days complete with swimming, arts and crafts, sports, games and even a few special surprises.
Maccabi Games
Join this annual event in North America where teens compete in Olympic-style games. A program of Jewish Community Center (JCC) Association, the games bring together thousands of Jewish teens for several days of competition.
Preston’s H.O.P.E.
This extensive accessible playground park is for children with all levels of abilities and disabilities – providing children with the opportunities to explore, play and learn. It is located on the property of and operated by Mandel JCC.
BBYO
The J houses the Ohio Northern Region of this youth group movement for Jewish teens in grades 8-12. We host the Cleveland Jewish Basketball League and offer special BBYO Teen membership
pricing to our fitness center.
