Leia Withee, LSW
A Columbus native, Leia first attended Camp Wise in 2008 and has since held various roles, including counselor, camper care specialist and Ohalim supervisor. Leia holds a master degree in social work from The Ohio State University, along with a Jewish Communal Service Certificate from Gratz College. Leia served as a Community Care Director at URJ Six Points Creative Arts Academy and currently works as a social worker at a high school. Passionate about camper well-being, she’s excited to foster a supportive and inclusive camp environment.
Rabbi Dan Utley
Rabbi Dan Utley is a Cleveland native. His love for Judaism and community began at The Temple-Tifereth Israel and URJ Goldman Union Camp, where he spent over 15 summers mentoring staff and supporting campers. Dan pursued the rabbinate while serving as Program Director at Anshe Chesed Fairmount Temple. Now, he brings his passion for care, connection and Jewish life to Camp Wise.
