  • OLIM VILLAGE - A brand-new service and excursion-based summer experience for rising 7th graders!

  • ENHANCED PAC PROGRAMMING - An even-better-than-ever Pilloff Performing Arts Camp experience is on its way, including masterclasses, technical theater, and playwriting.

Kindergarten Programming

Our youngest campers, our Adama village, spend their days at Safran Park. They enjoy a warm, nurturing environment that fosters community-building, imagination, and play. Through fun-filled daily activities like sports, swimming, art, STEM, and dance, they develop essential social skills, practice teamwork, and connect as part of a fun, supportive camp community all while having a blast outdoors. Included in their camp experience, Adama campers participate in Safety Town during Session 3.

First Grade

Our first grade Anisfield campers have the choice between Halle Park in Burton or Safran Park in Beachwood for their Anisfield experience. At Halle Park, campers enjoy a lively bus ride to our wooded campsite where they dive into nature and endless outdoor activities. Safran Park offers a nurturing environment, still filled with outdoor play, swimming, and more. Both locations promise fun adventures, skill-building, and forever friendships. The J-Day Camps team is available to discuss which site may be the best fit for your rising first grader.

Grades 2-6

As campers progress to Grades 2-6, their experience grows to match their interests and independence.

  • Camp 360 provides a full camp experience with swimming, sports, archery, arts and crafts, and more.
  • Athletics and Creative Arts programs offer longer, immersive days for campers to delve into specialized activities.
  • Campers can enroll in our STEM Equestrian Experience Specialty Track for an exciting introduction to equine care! Campers will safely interact with horses while learning about grooming, feeding, and holistic care.
  • J-Day Camps 2nd-6th graders can experience the best of both worlds through J-Day Camps Goes To Camp Wise!

NEW: 7th Grade - Olim

New this summer, Anisfield’s rising 7th graders will have their best summer yet! As a cohort, our Olim Village will  grow, adventure, and connect.

  • Through a variety of carefully crafted field trips and on-site experiences, Olim campers will develop leadership skills, give back to their community, explore Cleveland through many lenses, and have a blast enjoying beloved camp programs.
  • Through programming created specifically to meet the needs and interests of this middle school age group, Olim will offer our oldest Anisfield campers a summer of fun, experiential learning, tikkun olam, community-building, and memories to last a lifetime.

The Pilloff Family Performing Arts Camp - Grades K through 8

About PAC

An extension of Playmakers Youth Theatre, PAC is a place for campers of all experience levels to stretch their imaginations, gain confidence on and off stage, and build lifelong friendships. PAC’s nurturing atmosphere celebrates each individual’s voice and creativity, and PAC campers grow as performers and people.

PAC Programming

Each day, campers participate in a variety of performing arts activities and fun in the sun, including swim. Each age group rehearses a play, written by Emma Miller, with roles specifically developed to showcase each individual.

Kindergarten & First Grade

PAC’s Nitzotzot is an age-appropriate, nurturing intro to performing arts! Enjoy daily swim, outdoor play, art, and Makerspace and improv, creative movement, music, and more. In Nitzotzot, our youngest campers harness creativity and foster confidence. They even rehearse for their very own show, geared towards first time performers.

Grades 2-5

Kochavim campers (2nd-3rd graders) and Sachkanim campers (4th-5th) will have the best summer yet. What could be better than costume design, dance, improv, music, swimming, and Scene Stealers? Plus, they enjoy  chugim (electives), Playmympics (a daily creative challenge), rehearsing for their show, and more!

Grades 6-8

Bamayim campers enjoy a cohort-based, elevated rehearsal process and performance of a full-scale musical. Our oldest PAC campers enjoy beloved activities while also enjoying choice-based programs that grow as they do. They’ll devise, rehearse, and spend time prepping for an extra-special showcase.

New at PAC this Summer

Sachkanim and Bamayim campers can look forward to exploring the Cleveland theater scene through field trips and masterclasses. They will also learn playwriting, behind-the-scenes technique including costuming, scenic design and stage make-up, and experience programming that grows as they do.

J-Kids Camp

Our Pre- and Post-Camp sessions allow kids in grades K-6 to get an early start on the summer with a full day camp experience before J-Day Camps start and after the final session of the summer. Spend a day, several days or the entire week at Safran Park in Beachwood for swimming, sports, crafts and other activities.
