Healthy Aging Programming

60 Connect is an opportunity for individuals ages 60 and over and adults with disabilities to socialize, learn, explore and enjoy a Kosher lunch together. Through interactive programming, we help foster relationships and strengthen bonds between and among generations – reducing isolation and loneliness while increasing self-esteem and connectedness

Exercising Your Mind and Body

Connect with peers while participating in recreational activities including exercise classes, live entertainment, discussion groups, games outings and more. Participants join many of The J’s classes such as Terry Pollack’s News of the Week, Book Club and Book Festival and FilmFest events held during the day. Learn about current Jewish holidays at adult morning Shabbat and learn sessions and share many program celebrations with our early childhood learners.

Community Outings

60 Connect frequently takes to the road for cultural, educational and engaging field trips. Whether to The Cleveland Orchestra and Playhouse Square or one of Cleveland’s highly-rated museums or a tour of Amish country, 60 Connect offers something for everyone.

How the Program Works

Each weekday, activities include Kosher lunch from 11:30 am – 12:30 pm at Myers Apartments (formerly R.H. Myers) and programming before or after lunch at Mandel JCC.

Free transportation is available to and from many surrounding communities.

To participate, registration for all programs and lunch must be received one week (by Tuesday) in advance by calling 216-831-0700 ext. 1210.
